You occasionally see trailers by the roadside without a wheel or maybe a broken axle and you never think it’ll happen to you.
If it does though and you’re in the Wyndham area you may get the assistance you need from a specialist trailer place. I was in a real bind when I got my blowout.
After removing the wheel I tried everything to get a replacement tyre but old trailers often have odd size wheels, therefore I couldn’t get a tyre in any sort of hurry, and you especially need one when you’re broken down on a busy main roadside.
Fortunately for me Zammit trailers were able to help with an old wheel that got me going and they wouldn’t accept payment. Said they were happy to get me going.

I had my excavator trailer sent to these guys on a tilt tray, it had some extensive damage. They professionally repaired and replaced the damaged parts, kept me fully updated during the repair, and had it back to me within 24 hours, the invoice was also very fair and reasonable. We've had nothing but great experiences with Zammit Trailers in Werribee. Over the years, we’ve purchased a couple plant trailers from them, and every single one has been spot on—reliable, well-built, and exactly what we needed. We’ve always been absolutely stoked with the quality.
